Admission

Admissions are granted to all girls irrespective of caste, creed or social status. The minimum age for admission in PLAYGROUP is 3 years as on 1st April of the calendar year. Admissions at pre-primary level are based only on interviews with candidates’ parents/ guardians. For admission in I Std. and above, in addition to interviews with candidates’ parents/ guardians, applicant children have to write an admission test and appear for an interview alongwith their parents/guardians. Prospectus containing application form for Registration can be obtained from the school office. Registration fee is non-refundable.


Admission is possible if there is a vacancy in a particular class. Registration does not, in anyway, guarantee admission. Name and date of birth as recorded in the previous school leaving certificate/ birth certificate (for Pre-Primary), should tally with the same entered in the admission form by the parents/guardians and will be considered final and no request for the change of name/ date of birth will be entertained subsequently. Parents and guardians must, therefore, ensure that these entries are correct and same as mentioned in the certificates to avoid any problem at a last date.


Admission of a child to the school will mean complete acceptance by the Parents/ Guardian of all school rules in force or amended from time to time. Rules are subject to change at the discretion of the school management.


Admission will depend on the overall performance of the student. Parents/ Guardian should bring the candidate to the school on the date and times fixed by the school for tests, or avoid disappointment.


On the basis of the all performance of the candidate, the selection committee will select students for admission and a list of all successful candidates will be put up on the notice board.


The Parents/ Guardian will be required to deposit the fees along with necessary certificates and photographs etc. within 7 days of the admission order, failing which the seat will be treated vacant and may be filled in by another candidate, at the discretion of the Director.


At the time of admission every student must produce a transfer certificate from the school last attended. Unless the T.C. is produced, admission granted will be treated as provisional. In such cases, if certificates are not submitted within the specified period, the scholar’s name will be removed from the rolls of the school without any notice to the parents/ guardian and the admission fees already paid will not be refunded in any circumstances.


Admission of a student is renewed every year depending upon her over all performance, work and behaviour if a student is not considered to have fared well or earns adverse report about her work or behaviour from the teachers, her name may be removed from the scholar’s register without any notice.
